Intro to Microsoft Excel
Excel is a spreadsheet program. Completing this course
will open you up to new opportunities to work with numerical
data. You'll learn how to create a new spreadsheet,
enter data, edit data and carry out the four basic math
operations (i.e. plus, minus, multiply and divide).
You'll also learn how to perform more complicated operations
like calculating averages, maximums, minimums and using
logical arguments. We'll also cover how to sort your
data and how to graph and chart your data.
Intro to Microsoft Powerpoint
Powerpoint is the modern slide projector. If you make
group presentations, you'll need to learn how to use
Powerpoint. We'll show you how to create a new presentation,
insert text and graphics onto a slide and create links
to work you've done in Microsoft Word or Excel. You'll
also learn how to change the order of slides in your
presentation as your ideas change and introduce you
to special effects like animation and pre-set background
designs.
Intro to Microsoft Access
Microsoft Access is a database program. In this course,
we'll show you how to create your own database, add
and amend information and create and print reports.
